On account of celebrating 60 glorious years of Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET), Centre for Disaster Management and Research (CDMR), IIT Guwahati, NESAC- Shillong and ISET are jointly organizing a two-day symposium on “Socio-Technological Aspects of Seismic Disaster and its Mitigation” on 23 and 24 June, 2022 at IIT Guwahati.
Under this two-day event, various aspects of earthquakes and disaster mitigation technologies will be deliberated. There will be plenary lectures followed by technical sessions and student presentations.
